| Shirebound! Eeeeek! (that is for the last chapter, but I had to rush to what would happen!) Bilbo is quite wonderful in a crisis! Taking charge like a general!!! love this chapter. Everybody trying to take care of each other! ((hugs))! And then of course Gandalf arrives! As Aragorn says Gandalf does arrive at the oddest and best times!! “Of course. You’ve become more than a friend,” Bilbo said. “Frodo has come to think of you as a member of his family.” He smiled at the Ranger’s startled expression. “Have you a large family?” “No. Hardly anyone.” “You do now. | So it's not embarrassing enough that he got stuck in a pond and had to be rescued by hobbits (and only one adult hobbit, at that), but Gandalf caught him at it ... heehee ... :-) He'll never live this down (but he will live, which is I suppose the point in the end) ... | |
