| You give such a wonderful description of this marriage, and especially what a wise and good father Bungo was. How terribly Bilbo must have missed his parents when they passed on. Author Reply: I was shocked to find out how young they were (and how relatively young Bilbo was) when they died! (It was also a surprise to discover that Uncle Isen would still have been alive when Bilbo returned from his adventure...
