| Denethor's determination shines through, as does his love for his sons, even distorted as his thinking might be due to Sauron's influence. Sigh. He is a tragic figure. Author Reply: I think so too! and I believe that it was somewhat exaggerated that he may have love Boromir more. It is up to interpretation on how deeply the palantir had affected his thinking at the end. It is interesting to think about. | |
