| A fascinating story for young Bill to have heard. It certainly challenged his imagination of Rangers being all lone wanderers about the Breelands. That Bill came of Ranger ponies stock is fascinating, and explains how he came to have his great heart. Well thought out! Author Reply: Thank you! Since the Professor didn't give us much background on Bill, I took the liberty of imagining a bit of family history for him. (I wonder if young Arathorn learned to ride on one of Bill's ancestors?) | |

| It's so interesting to learn more of Bill's life story. I hope he gets a drink of clean, plentiful water soon, and a good meal! Poor thing.
