| ‘I disagree that Uncle Merry’s experience was any less horrible than Mayor Sam’s!’ Each hobbit experienced their own nightmares on the Quest. I remember exploring Merry's need for comfort in "A Rohan Tapestry" and Pippin's in "Return to Rivendell". Our dear hobbits need all the respect and comfort they can get! Author Reply: Oh! I need to read (or re-read) these stories! I have added them to my list for this week. (Hopefully life won't get in the way...) Author Reply: (p.s.
