| Yes--the Noldor heritage remains in the lives of the Dunedain, doesn't it? And she thinks that it will be to Feanor that the honor will be granted to rebuild the world? Interesting conceit. Author Reply: I've always been interested in the fire imagery around Feanor, and the motif of the Flame Imperishable that burns at the heart of Ea. I don't think Miriel's idea is so impossible ;) | |
