| This waiting for Ferdi's decision must have tried Estella's patience beyond bearing. Author Reply: Estella is not the most patient person as it is; she's impulsive, very much like her cousin Pippin. Her experience with the Bolgers and later with the family of back-country Tooks was probably excellent training for the future and taught her valuable lessons in subtlety and discretion! Thanks! | |

| A terrible and dangerous game this, playing "usual" with such potential adversaries. I rejoice that Ferdi managed to keep quiet so long with the ruffians in the next room. I can appreciate Estella's frustration and her willingness to aid Rosemary as best she can. Not an easy role to play, but a necessary one at the moment. Author Reply: It must have been nerve-wracking, never able to relax for fear of slipping and putting the little ones in danger. Estella still has a surprise coming (as does Rosemary)... Thanks. | |
