| This raised a grin. No lecture on the value of salt I notice but then...it is pepper at is the costlier spice although both would have been kept under lock and key in the Middle Ages. If they both had a salt shaker then neither would have been sitting 'below the salt'. Lots of fascinating history to this humble condiment!
