| I love how you don't place this during a definitive time in Boromir's life. It can be on his way to Rivendell, which adds a poignancy to his thoughts just before collapsing, or it could be during some other journey he takes along a cold and nearly frozen river, which lends an entirely different urgency to his predicament. Very nicely done. |
