| What a lovely story! Love esp. Manwe's words to the Mariner about Sam and the the last sentence the most. That was neat! | Again, such a beautiful moment as Earendil and Sam share that moment of renewed hope, and Sam finds it in him to pass on the strength it renewed in himself to Frodo for the next day's weary journey. Lovely! Author Reply: Thank you so much, Larner. :-) I put a lot of research into this because I do not know the Silmarillion at all. I have owned it for many years but have only read it twice and didn't get much out of it either time. It's encouraging to know my research paid off. | |
