| This is a wonderful chapter. Elrond here is both kind and wise - just perfect. And the portrait of Estel as still a child, but growing in wisdom himself, is beautifully done. A masterful chapter in a very enjoyable story. Author Reply: Thank you! I'm so glad that you feel I did Elrond justice. He's such a rich and wonderful character: great fun to write!
