| I know I've already told you this both when I beta'd for you and on OAA, but it bears repeating: I absolutely loved this, every word. You've captured a slice of Dunedain life near and dear to my heart, that of Aragorn at home with his people, receiving the love and comfort only they can provide. That you also threw in so much rich detail about his eyes and his clothes and his hair and everything else to make my fangirl heart absolutely disintegrate into a giant puddle of mush was icing on the cake. And icing is, after all, my favorite part of the cake. :) I'll be reading this again and again, I'm sure! | |

| I love this. He is trying so hard to fit into the Chieftain mold, but he is really just a young man away from his family for the first time. Although this won't be the last Mettare that he will be alone, it is the first, and probably the hardest. A beautiful portrait of the future king as we celebrate our own Yule. | |
