Pink banners? Now that really would have been a sight to see above the Citadel! *giggle* I bet Aragorn looked really fetching in pink! This reminds me of the quilt that Larner had Pippin make for him with pink patches. Author Reply: Pink banners would hav been rather....Vsibile, wouldn't they? I don't know how Aragorn would look in pink or not, but the image makes me giggle everytime. I'm pleased you enjoyed this and honored you took the time to leave a review. Thank you!

Very cute, especially the kitten. I do find myself wondering if the color pink has the same connotations in Gondor that it does in our world. They might think a man wearing pink is perfectly normal. However, as a story for people on this earth it works well. Author Reply: I wondered about pink having the same conentations too. I know in Europe, mn are more open to color in their clothing. I'm not sure if pink has the same meanings in M-e or not. I am glad you liked this tale though. Forgive my lateness in responding. I was under the weather. Thanks so much for your review.

I enjoy your stories about Aragorn and his children and am pleased to see them posted here. I hope you'll write more about the House of Telcontar in the future. Author Reply: Thank you so very much, Linda. I am happy and honored to be able to post them here. I of course will write about Aragorn and his family in the future. The Numenoreans have been my loudest muses lately, but I could never forget Aragorn and his kin either.

Yes, children! And remember--they pick out our long-term care facilities! The idea of Aragorn having to wear that pink nightshirt will ever linger in my imagination, alongside his bedroll with its bright pink patches. Pink--one of the colors of love expressed! Heh! Author Reply: The image of the pink nightshirt is forever emblazened in my memory too, as well as the look of horror on poor Aragorn's face when he saw all his new clothing dyed pink. Ye, that story about the pink patches was yours wasn't it? I remeber you linking me to it after I posted this on GFIC and I couln't help but laugh. Little did I know at the time I wrote this, my husband would be utterly against pink too! LOL! I'm glad this story had you tickled too. :-)

Actually, a pink banner over the Citadel would be rather eye-catching, LOL. And Aragorn in a pink nightshirt, oh the poor guy. Funny story. Minor quibble - the expression I mean business is a bit too modern for my taste; a little jarring in a story about even Fourth Age Middle-earth. At least the kid didn't cut up the cloaks to make dolls' clothes or something! Author Reply: I had tears streaming down my face I was laughing so hard while I wrote this. I wasn't sure if it would be too over the top or be as humorous to others as it was to me. Pink banners "would" make a nice contrast with all that white stone wouldn't they? LOL! Ah the fun of raising young daughters. Thanks for the advice on the one phrase. I wasn't sure how else to word it, otherwise I would have used something less modern. Oh no! I'm glad Miriel didn't cut up the cloaks either! But I think she heard the suggestion, LOL! She's the more mischevious of my muses, that's for sure. Thanks for reviewing!

Aragorn could not have looked more shocked or afraid had he found all nine of the Nazgul within the room. ... Nothing said “I mean business.” Like bright pink. LOL! A very sweet story. Author Reply: Yay! I'm so happy you enjoyed this, Shirebound! ((hugs)) Poor Aragorn, being stuck with all those women after spending years out in the wilds of the world. I bet it was a shock!
