| The most touching chapter yet *sniff* Must have been very hard for Frodo to lose Sam's mother--like losing his own all over again. You conveyed that sorrow beautifully here. ~~~{~@ | |

| Sweeeeetttt!!! That is lovely about F comforting S after the death of his mum, and S resolving to take care of his master. I read a story some time back something along those lines. Can't remember the title, or if the author ever finished it, but it was lovely. ~~~{~@ Author Reply: Hantanyel, dear! Glad you are sticking with this. Namarie, God bless, Antane :) | |

| Oh poor Sam. You make my heart bleed for him in this. Loved the part about needing to ask forgiveness even though none is needed. Author Reply: Hantanyel, my dear! Namarie, God bless, Antane :) Author Reply: Another reply! I had hoped to get the tower chapter up before I quit for Lent but alas I have not and Byzantine Catholics start on Monday and I am following that this year with no Sunday breaks either. See you on the other side. :) Namarie, God bless, Antane | |

| Oh, this is so heartbreaking! Both their pain is so sharp it's painful to read. I really love Sam's part of this (though if I were you and if I may make a little suggestion I'd swich okay with all right--okay just sounds really American). There had to be times when he really felt that. God bless, Galadriel Author Reply: I was corrected on that word by someone else while they were reading the epic. It's changed now - hantanyel for catching it. Namarie, God bless, Melinyel, Antane :) | |
