Locke And Key  by NaughtyNettie 4 Review(s)

Well it looks like Legolas is very much on his way to a full recovery, eventhough he thinks things are happening way to slow.
The letter to Estel made it very clear that indeed: "he is back"

Author Reply: I have a feeling that any recovery, no matter how speedy, would be too slow for Legolas :o) Thank you for reviewing!!

I'm glad wisps of memory are returning and beginning to build up a bit more of a picture of his life.

The letter to Estel is delightful - I look forward to discovering the effect of thimbleweed on the elven constitution. Perhaps.

I love the line “I stopped taking the heads of attendants just before your birth. We were running low.” Although I expect Calorthil cringed. The relationship between Legolas and his father seems to be comforting to both.

Author Reply: Thank you! I'm glad that you liked the chapter and the interaction between Legolas and Thranduil. Thank you so much for reviewing!

That chapter was so enjoyable! Even with all the pain of not exactly being able to grasp all his memories fully, there was laughter and joy! Wonderful

Well, that sounds like a difficult return but a return none the less. Legolas's memories are coming back, thank goodness. And he does sound like the elf Estel knows in his letter. Good.

Author Reply: I thought it more believable to have some memories coming back slowly and some not coming back at all. When I researched amnesia it said that the patient never recalls the incident in which the trauma occurred so I wanted to stay true to that. Thank you for your review and comments :o)
