Locke And Key  by NaughtyNettie 5 Review(s)

I should think, given what happened to Legolas and Estel, that Elrond was worried sick about letting them leave without guards - but couldn't say anything to knock Legolas's confidence.

Homemade tarts? It's not only Legolas who wants an explanation of that!

The journey home seems to have been good for both Angrod and Legolas - and probably filled in some gaps and made Legolas feel a bit more grounded. And now he's home to Thranduil! Fingers crossed that does a bit of memory jogging!

Author Reply: Thank you for your review and comments. I am sure it was hard for all of the Imladris inhabitants to let Legolas out of their sight again but they knew it was important for them to get home. The homemade tarts episode has been spoken of throughout the story, beginning with Angrod's memories on his way to Imladris. Glad you liked the chapter.

A lovely chapter. I loved the way you described the loose interaction there had always been between the two elves.
And I loved reading how Legolas may have lost his memory but is still so much the same elf he always was, still the same personality and sense of humour.
The love Thranduil and Legolas share is quite obvious as well.

Author Reply: Thank you! I'm so glad that you liked the chapter and the interaction between Legolas and Angrod. They are fun for me to write :o) Thank you for reviewing!!

Hi,
I just wanted to take a minute to let you know what a great story you are weaving. I have followed along quietly and am enjoying every chapter. But this one was special. Thank you for letting the healing continue in Mirkwood. So many authors have the healing process only in Imladris and with Elrond and his sons. I was afraid that when you got Legolas to Imladris he would get his memory back and everything would be hunky dory. But to me, complete recovery would happen at home, in Mirkwood with his father.

Thank you for sharing you gift with us.

Robin

Author Reply: Thank you! I am glad that you are liking the story. Legolas, from the very beginning, has wondered most about his home and family so it just felt right getting him back to them as soon as possible. Thank you for reviewing!!

Nice transition chapter, Nettie. I particularly liked Angrod feeling "alive" during the race and the paragraph about how they neither hurried nor tarried. There does seem to be healing going on here.

Author Reply: Wow! I've been bad. I thought I had responded to the reviews for this chapter. Sorry! I'm glad you liked the chapter. I like writing Legolas/Angrod Chapters because there is more freedom with an OC. Thank you for reviewing!
