| It was very kind of Elladan not to let Elrohir suffer the pangs of loneliness. Self-sacrificing. (Not.) I expect they'll still spend most of their nights together for a good while. But they can have their own space if they need it - and they will grow into it. Author Reply: It was kind of him to check on how his brother was feeling, wasn't it? They will have their own rooms eventually, with a shared middle room as a study/workroom/lounge. I've also said in previous stories that if one of them is ever injured, they go back to sharing a room. | |

| Somehow I think the twins will never really have a room completely for themselves. There will always be one sleeping in with the other :) Author Reply: They do eventually have their own rooms. This phase won't last long :) | |

| “El? I came to see if you were all right. If you were feeling lonely – it’s the first time you’ve been on your own.” He swallowed. “Do you want me to stay tonight? I can sleep on the floor.” That was great, Elladan is so very kind. I also like how he misses Elrohir's complaining about the untidiness. Author Reply: There was a line in the previous drabble about Elrohir not liking Elladan's 'clutter'. It seemed a good link between the two. Elladan is being very ... protective here, isn't he? | |

Do you think he fooled anyone? I have it on authority from RL twins that they had no problems like this - they just left the adjoining door open all the time ... | |
