*falls out of chair laughing*

I don't remember seeing this before, but it was absolutely hilarious!

The mental image of nekkid!Legolas trailing suds...

Bubbles? The Elf left bubbles behind? Hehehehehehe!

But the rest of it is so in keeping with our Legolas.

My question--did he bother to undress before bathing? Prurient minds want to know. Heh!

"The sunshine dappled his skin now as he remained on the alert for any danger. He stood as still and graceful as a stag, and as potentially deadly...."

Well, THAT was splendidly evocative! (Which is to say, quite delightful—and really yummy!) And the bubbles were fabulous ! I'm a hard-core hobbit scribe, but I could have been turned there, for a minute! :)

hmmmmmmm...what a lovely image! The details made me laugh with delight, and of course, I immediately had to wonder where else the bubbles were! ;)

Author Reply: "of course, I immediately had to wonder where else the bubbles were! ;)"

*laughing out loud!* Ummm, yes... well... *snickers* I do believe I will just leave that to your imagination, though I believe if you read the fic carefully through again there are some hints regarding the answer to that 'wonderment'! LOL I'm glad you enjoyed it! Thanks so very much for reviewing!

LOL, now there's a sight I would love to see... bubbles trailing an elf ;)
I love the fact that he does get his weapons but leaves the rest, that's a nice thnig to see as well :O

Author Reply: I do believe that would be a sight we would ALL love to see!! *smirk*

As for getting only the weapons, I really did try to think about that. It seems to me that ultimately, being a warrior, that would be the most important thing to him. Sure, the clothes could protect him some if he got in a fight, and leaving them there might be a giveaway but it would be more important to grab his weapons and get under cover.

Besides, I would hope that after several hundred years of living, an elf would have learned not to be embarassed by his own naked body. Especially since an elf, and especially *that* elf, would have absolutely NOTHING to be ashamed of!! LOL

Oh, this was just lovely!

Author Reply: Yes... *lovely* to contemplate, isn't it? *giggles too* Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for reviewing!

Oh Jules! the end of this had me giggling so hard someone came into my office to find out what was going on! How could I explain that one! Still, I suppose it will teach me to take a sneaky read during a coffee break!

Author Reply: Oh, I'm SO glad! I was giggling pretty hard myself when I the scenario occurred to me! You do have to be careful though reading those kinds of things at work if you don't want to have to explain yourself. My kids have gotten used to peals of laughter coming from the den when I'm in here, but my husband still wonders sometimes what in the world is going on. It is definitely hard to explain, isn't it? Especially to those who don't understand... LOL

This is nicely written with telling details. I imagine it was hard to stay clean on the road, especially in winter.

Author Reply: Yes, I'm sure the opportunity for a bath was rare, and greatly appreciated. Thank you for your kind words. I'm glad you enjoyed the story.
