Locke And Key  by NaughtyNettie 5 Review(s)

Beautifully done. I can see how you are slowly tying things together, but not in a way that rushes the story. And the response of Thranduil was that of the loving Ada that many believe him to be. Can't wait for the next chapter!

Don't you love how we read what you have so painstakenly written, only to turn around and immediately demand more? ;)

Author Reply: I can't believe I forgot to do reviews for this chapter, I apologize!! I am glad that you liked the chapter and approve of a loving Thranduil, I always liked him better that way.

Demanding more is much better than begging me to stop ;o) Thank you!!!

I feel for Estel. Being stuck in bed is bad enough, and he's evidently not supposed to move even there! That would be really uncomfortable even without the wounds. He's healing though, and that's good.

I'm so glad we got to see the letter from Thranduil.

Poor Estel. Healing must seem such a slow process. I'm glad to know Elrond thinks he's doing well. Legolas's problems might be a bit of a setback, though. Although, I suppose Legolas's memory contains one rather lovely man to set off the recollection of the scum. Much as Thranduil wants him home, I feel he would be better staying with Elrond for a while - at least until he is somewhat better healed. Travelling cannot be good for head injuries.

O boy that letter must be such a relief to Legolas, to know that his father loves him so much. He may not yet know exactly who he his himself, but he knows he is loved. Great chapter.

Author Reply: Thank you very much!! I think Legolas needs all of the love and support he can get so a letter from his father was just what the doctor (or healer) ordered :o)
