Thankfully he is now safely in Elronds capable hands! If anyone is able to help Legolas, it would be him. Once Elrond pulls off his amazing healing of Legolas, and Legolas is able to reconnect with Estel, it's justice time, right? Curiousity begs me to ask - are they going to inform the ElfKing of his son's plight, and if so, how do you think he would take it? Not meaning to sidetrack you, but you have written everything so well that I can almost SEE his reaction to his son being hanged for protecting a mortal - even if or especially because said mortal is the Heir to the throne of Gondor! Author Reply: Hmm, justice for the bad guys? That seems to be a popular request. We'll have to wait and see. As for Thranduil's reaction, read the next chapter to see :o)

What a lovely emotional chapter. I was touched by the other four elves attempts to connect with Legolas and thier concern for him and his wounds. You depicted wonderfully an annesiac's confusion and strife for memory. The little home-coming welcome from Elrond was also so touching and loving. He is one well loved Elfy. Lovely chapter, Nettie. Author Reply: Thank you so much! I am happy that you liked it. I tend to enjoy writing the mushy, touchy/feely stuff better than the action so the end of this story was a lot of fun for me and I'm glad that you are enjoying it as well.

It's good to see that Legolas feels he can trust the elves he's with, even if he doesn't remember them. I still think that seeing Aragorn will help him with his recovery, eventhough he might be scarred of him at first. After all Aragorn might at first remind him of the attackers. You're doing a great job here, so keep it up. Author Reply: Thank you so much for the encouragement. I am glad that you are enjoying the story. Estel and Legolas' meeting is still yet to come.

Well - they've got him back to a safe place - and the healing hands of Elrond - but it's not going to be easy to overcome this trauma. He does seem to have some instinctive trust of elves - and responds well to the treatment they have managed so far. I don't know what he'll think of Aragorn, though. That could be a problem yet to be faced. His recent experience with men isn't likely to enthuse him about the young heir of Isildur. Author Reply: Thank you for reading and reviewing! Let the healing begin :o)

You're doing a nice job of working in details of setting and description, Nettie. I have a hard time doing that myself, so I admire it. Legolas is in good hands at last, thank Eru.
