| Even the haziest recollection of Pippin by her bedside should convince Diamond of his worry for her! And she has the Rosie seal of approval - I somehow suspect that Persimmone would never have gained that. I hope Pippin listens to Sam's suggestion, too. At the moment, Diamond needs a little more encouragement. And remind anyone who is listening - never, never cross the Took sisters! Author Reply: Yes, but Diamond does have her insecurities, the dear lass. Rosie, like Sam, has a head full of good Hobbit-sense, she would never have approved of Persimmone :) Yes, I think Diamond and Pip both need some encouragement, they are both a bit wobbly right now. | Rose and Sam are the perfect pair. They both have more common sense than half the Shire. I love the way Rose is mothering Diamond and Sam did an excellent job with Pippin too. This is such a lovely story. I may have said so before but it is worth repeating. I am enjoying this very much and looking forward to more. Author Reply: Thank you so very much, GW!!!
