| Adras has a lot of compassion in him, but he has a time getting him in his house, and his son is a jerk... He does what he can for Legolas good thing he found him... | I almost feel sorry for Adras's son. It's obvious that he hasn't always been this way. At least it seems that he is going to leave Legolas alone for the time being. Multiple head wounds does not sound good. Hopefully he will wake up soon and at least be able to give Adras his name. I liked Adras's comment about the extra warmth from the fire. That was cute. Great chapter. I'm looking forward to more. Author Reply: I'm glad that you liked the chapter. Dorias is just a bit misguided. Legolas should be waking up sometime soon, I think :o) Next chapter is right around the corner. | |

| But now the added fire was necessary with the elf covered only by a slight blanket. The old man secretly took pleasure in the extra heat. "I like you already Master Elf. If for nothing more than the additional warmth you bring." This was a nice moment. It felt very real. I like Adras in general. I think he and I would get along. | Well - Adras is a good chap. Kind, trustworthy, generous with what little he had. But his son.... Not a chip off the old block. I don't like to think what ideas he might be getting in his nasty little head, but I doubt they'll be good news for Adras and the rescued elf. Author Reply: I am glad that you like Adras. I am trying to make him very likeable. As for Dorias, hmmm, he isn't so bad, just a little misunderstood :o) | |
