| Wonderful details that bring the whole scene to life, as ever. Dain's grudging hospitality to the Men is somewhat funny... Eek! What a cliffhanger! I'm almost afraid to know what happens next. Will Dim reveal Bilbo to the King? Will the Company be caught saying something treasonous? | |

| Ooops! Poor Bilbo. And just when a Ring would have been most useful, I can imagine him thinking! I am very puzzled now. A lot of my suspicions were put to rest by what Bilbo overheard, and now I can't for the life of me figure things out. You are very good with red herrings!
