| Pippin tries so hard to be brave and poor Merry is so very worried. I love Gimli's pride in Pippin because he has managed to kill the wolf. I thought that was so well done. Author Reply: Thanks. Gimli's getting very attached to his companions, even if he doesn't always let on :-D | |

| Poor Pippin. Being brave in the middle of something is one thing - but the reaction of afterwards is quite another. Though, if the other hobbits stopped their panic, Aragorn might be able to get round to seeing to that bite. Author Reply: Eventually Aragorn will be able to convince the others to let him tend to Pippin's wound :-) | |
