| The intuitions are interesting. Beren and Luthien lived at the end of the First Age. Gondor wasn't founded until the end of the Second Age, about three thousand years later, which makes the book Diamond is reading definitely a novel. But it continues to be interesting. Sorry I missed the third chapter--probably was published during one of the breakdowns in my system I knew this year. | |
