| oh such a wonderfull story. I have always felt the hobbits and elves were connected, if not directly related... but thats just me. but I have a small plot bunnie here for you... elves are immortal, would it not be interesting for Pippin, once he returns from war, to meet a elven relation of his while escorting the ringbearers to the Greyhavens? for it says in the book, there were many elves, not just the three. smiles take it or leave it, may the Valar bless your muses... | Sam's pretty smart. I don't think a Pippin holding his tongue would fool him for long. After all, it is a rather unnatural event! Lovely to think of the Thains being in contact with elves - and it certainly accounts for Frodo's strain of elvishness. I have read this before, I now realise - wasn't it a Marigold's challenge story? What a good family secret to have. Author Reply: Thank you! I am glad you enjoyed it. | 'When you put such a long line of asterisks (***) in your story, it causes the browser window to become very wide, and forces your readers to have to scroll left and right... I'd suggest that you either put spaces in your asterisk divider (so it will wrap to the window size), or shorten it significantly.' I have stolen this message from a review by Elena Tiriel of Elliska's story, because your story is doing the same thing. Just to let you know.
