Oh my!! Wow, this is off to a great start and I hope you will continue to weave your tale.

I like how Pippin considers Faramir "his Steward". You're creating a wonderful friendship (and mutual need) between these two, and I like how Aragorn is aware of everything happening amongst his beloved friends.

Oh my! This is lovely--the sweet friendship between Pippin and Faramir, their reluctance of each to give his own burdens to the other, and their joy in the friendship they share, is shown so lovingly. And Aragorn, listening in and taking note, his healer's instincts at the ready. I think perhaps he will find that his Steward needs to be relieved of the burden of some of these infernal reports! But Pip's reference to the mystery drew a chuckle from me.

Take my advice: make the time to finish the story. Nothing can nag at you more than an unfinished mystery! By the way, what's your favorite Brother Cadfael? Mine is "One Corpse Too Many".

Very nice! I like how you have portrayed Faramir and Pippin's relationship! I am glad that they know each other so well and are able to help each other with their cares! They shared some of the same experiences and such and you have made their bond a wonderful one! This last big from Pippin has me confused as well! I hope Aragorn is able to get it all out of Pippin and through that we get to find out what is going on! ;) Looking forward to more, thank you very much!
