Yet another great chapter. You write incredibly well. Poor Legolas and Celebrķan, for that matter, her whole family. They know full well what she went through, and although they are trying to shield Arwen, I'm sure she will know or sense the worst of it. I liked the fact that Elrohir came to check up on Legolas. Elrond is a very good Ada and healer, he knew that the injuries that our little wood-elf sustained were likely to bother him for quite some time. I'm looking forward to reading more of this wonderful tale. vic | |

| I'm sorry if I haven't commented before, but I'm reading this, it seems a bit odd to say enjoying it (but I assume you know I must be!), and am wrapped up in your interpretation of the events leading up to the departure of Celebrian. I haven't, yet, come across any stories dealing with this (afterwards, yes, but not the situation itself) so this is new territory for me. I like your characters/characterisation, and how the mundane, normal to-and-fro of conversation kicks in even when the tone is so serious: "..but I suppose we should not take the chance in case his advise is, in fact, valid." Thank you, am anticipating the rest of the story. | |
