Once I was so ill that I was out of my mind. I was hot and cold at the same time, and I heard voices and saw people who weren't there, like my mother and father.

That was nothing in comparison to now. I cannot get warm. My arm doesn't work. The worst part is that I am not out of my mind at all. The people I see through the mist are indeed there, and the fear in their beloved faces is horrible. And the voices I hear are real too. Evil voices, telling me that I can have peace and rest if I just give in.

I will not.
