For SilverMoonLady who wanted a glimpse into Merry`s life as Master of Buckland.

Sometimes, when I`m buried in work, I long for the guidance of Gandalf or Aragorn. I long for Frodo`s wisdom or Pippin`s unquenchable cheerfulness or Sam`s sensibility, but it`s me they come to, it`s my advice and answers they want. Sometimes I long for my Da`s guidance too, and if I listen I can hear his voice. But I`m Master of Buckland now and I can only hope that I have learned something from them - Gandalf and Strider, Frodo and Da – and I know that if I want them, I have only to head off to Tuckborough or Hobbiton and Pippin and Sam will be there, providing what I need.
