A non-fiction paper I did for the 2009 Tolkien Society Seminar "Journeys and Destinations" which I subtitled The Journey of Samwise the Stouthearted. Of course the brother of his heart figures in it too. :) Enjoy! **2/5/10 I have since added to the paper so enjoy again for the first time!
