A short little ficlet written when very early in my love affair with LOTR - and before I was very familiar with the world of Fanfiction. It's a lovingly canon gap-filler Sam/Frodo scene set in Rivendell. Also includes a twisty little bit of forshadowing of "The Choices of Master Samwise". Please read, review and enjoy!
