Not By The Hand Of Man  by Jen Littlebottom
Arthedain, last of the remnants of Arnor, has fallen to the Witch-King of Angmar, and in turn Angmar has fallen before a slightly unlikely alliance - Eärnur, prince of Gondor with an army from the south, Aranarth, last prince of Arthedain and now first Chieftain of the Dúnedain with those of his people who yet remain - and Glorfindel, bringing an army from Rivendell. As the Witch-king fled towards Mordor, Glorfindel makes his famous prophecy: "Far off yet is his doom, and not by the hand of man will he fall"
