"I forgot to buy Éowyn one of those combs," Faramir said regretfully. "She loves mother of pearl."

"We would be mobbed again if we returned to the market," Aragorn cautioned.

"All our merchants crave the honour of doing business with such great men," said Ambassador Tahir. "You could always borrow some of my robes and return to the stall disguised."

"Fame and wealth has its disadvantages," sighed Aragorn. "I miss my Ranger days."

"We also have advantages," said Faramir. "I could despatch a servant to buy a whole box of combs for Éowyn and whatever your lady might desire too."

"Was the meeting a success?" Arwen enquired.

"The delegation from Khand desire to borrow a great deal of money," said Aragorn. "It would be risky to lend it, but could improve our relations with them. It is a difficult decision."

"Oh!" said Eldarion, putting aside his toy dragon. "I want to borrow money too. Is it very hard?"

"What do you want it for?" asked Aragorn.

Eldarion whispered in his father's ear. "I need sufficient coin to buy a gift for Naneth."

Aragorn hugged him. "That is an easy decision. I shall take you to market to choose one tomorrow."
