· Chapter 3: The Mark of the Dragon
Just read your story and enjoyed it. You did an excellent job in having the storm be the villain. You did a remarkable job in describing the tornadic winds. I have been fortunate enough not to have been caught in one, (been a little close a few times) and have seen the immediate aftermath of one. I also liked Gimli's telling Faramir that a house needs love to be a home.

lovely final chapter, I thought Eowyn would get her way and Faramir loved her enough to let her.

I love Faramir stories, and this one was especially nice. I had never thought about tornadoes in Rohan, but looking at a map I can see how they would be likely there.

What a delightful story! I love your children, and the growing understanding of Faramir for Eowyn. And the homecoming was splendid!

It was wonderful to see Faramir and Eowyn growing closer and really making a home, not just a house. Gimli was very wise to tell Faramir that it was the spirit with which they filled the house that mattered.

Good second chapter, and I enjoyed the first one also. I liked a young Eomer and Eowyn just behaving like ordinary children, and the image of a tornado resembling a dragon is very good. Faramir must let her have a cellar now!!

Wow. That was very exciting. I come from a part of the country where tornados strike and it's a terrifying thing. The noise alone is appalling. I liked Eomer's story about Smaug too. It's funny to wonder how much part of ME knew about what was going on elsewhere.

A-ha! Now we begin to see the importance of the cellar! I like your characterizations of little Eowyn and Eomer. Can't wait to see what you do next!

I'm looking forward to reading more of this story. Since Faramir is one of my favorite characters, I always enjoy reading well written stories that include him. Please treat him well, especially after all he's been through!

I wanted to read this earlier but had to wait until lunch! What a dunderhead Faramir was. Of course he should ask Eowyn why she want a cellar. As a matter of fact, he should have included her in the discussions about the design of the house. He has a lot to learn about being married.
But he is noble and handsome and good, so I'd be happy to teach him!

What a good idea! I always thought, too, that the marriage between Faramir and Eowyn was a little rushed. Faramir is lucky to have a friend like Aragorn. I loved this line: "Faramir sternly reminded himself that he was an adult now, and that it was bad form to squirm in front of a King."
Your first chapter was very well written, and I am looking forward to a second.

Very interesting. I can never do stuff like this -- I'm all humor and introspection.
