The Mantle of Stone
by Sphinx
He looks at them ever, faithful gazer of the Pillars. Their mantle was high, their sword unyielding. Would one inherit it? He wonders. A stranger he meets, who reminds him of the identity of the one who sits on the throne. Featuring a live canon character, who I hope is recognizable. Birthday fic for Joanna.
