I have a question. Is there some particular reason why Halbarad and Mallaer won't have children? I read some of your older stories these days, and I don't know if I missed something...

It hasn't been mentioned in any of my previous fics before, so you didn't miss anything! The short answer is infertility issues, though of course they wouldn't have been framed quite as such back then; the longer answer lies in some WIPs of mine that are still sitting in my drafts folder. Hopefully I'll get around to posting them someday...

It is not good for our people to be constantly looking over their shoulders, for fear of ruined crops and death.
This is a hard life, both for men and women, and sometimes only hope, or duty -- or the memory of love -- keeps someone going. I'm so impressed by the details in your stories, and the true emotions that shine through.
