Uh, oh... every time someone says something like "What could go wrong?" It goes wrong. Let's just hope it doesn't go too badly for our guys. I kind of like Rufus. He might be sleazy, but I can't decide if he can't be redeemed or if he will turn into a bad guy for our heroes.

WOW, I want a lock like that on my bike XD I can just about imagine myself singing The Eldar, by Blind Guardian every time I need my bike to go to school Glorfindel being able to fly a plane should not have surprised me. Alex feeling uneasy worries me... He wouldn't feel like that for no reason... I really love that Coleman's actually exists. The attention to detail in Fiondil's stories is incredible. Thank you for sharing yet another great chapter with us :)

Hmm, we never like it when Alex has premonitions. Hopefully it won't be too bad. And Rufus doesn't like being shown up by the elves. Poor guy.

At least Alex told someone although in a rather oblique way about Prof. Redelfs. I'm still worried about him. We all assume that anyone who is an elf is on our side, but maybe not...

I wish Námo would opt for having the goggles, too. That would have been sooo very steampunk! I see Gwyn and Alex are bonding in a way none of the other Elves would be able to do, IMO. I hope it turns out well for them. Thank you again for doing this, and looking forward in excitement for the continuation.

I almost feel sorry for Rufus now that he has been "Namoed" as Derek put it. I do wonder who Louise was that meant so much to him. And I think Alex is doing better than most think, he realizes who he needs to be for this. Let's just hope and pray that he can come back to Alex without much trouble after this is over. I'll add my thanks for your effort to continue the story line through to the end. We'll gladly take any updates whenever you can get them to us. Getting that far into another person's head cannot be an easy task.

I can imagine I speak for everyone when I say I don't know if there are enough words to express how much I appreciate your decision to try and complete this story. Because wow. And thank you. I was just going to beg you, in the event you elected not to, that perhaps you could just release Fiondil's notes to the public instead so that we might have some idea what was supposed to happen or how it was supposed to end. That said, really, thank you. I don't envy you the task. While it's almost like just how we try to get in Tolkien's mind when writing fanfiction, Fiondil's imagination is quite the undertaking. :) But I can't think of anyone who can write his characters as closely as he did than you two, especially Glorfindel. I'll admit, I can't wait for the story to focus on him again and was so saddened to find out it wouldn't be the case (when you announced we were coming to the end of the written chapters). Now I'm certainly smiling again. Thank you for doing this for us and for him. Really can't tell you how much it means.

Uh oh, I have a bad feeling about this... I do hope nothing bad happens on the way, but this just can't not go wrong. I'm really worried for Alex, is going to be allright? I kind of want to know who Louise is now and I almost feel sorry for Rufus, he's going to have nightmares about that "chat" for the rest of his life. Great chapter, as always :)

If this story ends here then the Cliffe King strikes again! I hope you are able to continue Arthurs work, if only so that a lot of people do not go bald from frustrated hair pulling! Artelemnar, organic browsers are only so good, they can sometimes drop information like a non-organic one. I have a theory that the Valar, sneaky little beings that they are, are the ones who sent the original photos that started all this! If they can send a fake Termination Order in order to get Anne to safety, they can surely send a few photos to get Alex to Wiseman. Lynda

This story is coming along very nicely, and I sure hope that it can be finished! I want to see how it ends, and I know that all of the other readers do, too. Thank you so much for posting it in Fiondil's stead! BTW, I just wanted to let you know that I've posted a review to one of his other stories: Sent Unto Men: Part II. I posted a question in that review that I'm wondering if you can answer, since Fiondil is not alive to do so.

thank you, all of you for your continuing hard work. this is a true masterpiece. your blood, sweat and tears are appreciated no matter how far you choose to go. we are with you all the way. as someone who has been batting 1000 when it comes to guessing, i have another postulation. could the rufus and paul dreams be given to alex because the two are connected to a one 'damien redelfs'? redelfs supposedly came to fairbanks two years ago. the pictures were sent to the agency sometime after christmas a year ago, following which alex enrolled in the academy beginning in the fall term. just wondering. on an entirely self serving note, the master's writing has inspired me to begin s bit of a continuation entitled wiseman twentieth anniversary. i would be interested in one or more beta readers as well as posting info. over 20 pages have been completed. thank you.

Indeed the plans are moving forward, and the idea that Rufus and Paul Jackson are somehow both involved in something he isn't certain of is obviously bothering him. Glad Glorfindel is going to be along.

I sincerely hope you choose to continue the story in Fiondil's memory. I know you would to other justice, but I understand if you chose not to as it would be no small job. Regardless, tbank you all for you dedication to bringing Fiondil's final work to us - even when your personal lives become hectic. I really do appreciate you and I wish you all well. This last foray into Fiondil's universe means so much to me, as his writing has been a constant in my life for so many years.

I wonder if Raguel could make the plane bigger on the inside to fit everyone that ought to come along? *thinking back to the creepy dreams about Wiseman being attacked and wondering if all the Elves and Mortals in the dream will come along on this tiny plane*

Great chapter! I want to know who Redelfs is so badly... And I still want to take that class with Alex, I would've loved that assignment. Raguel's "got it covered". Is he going to fly that plane over himself?! If so, where'd he learn how to fly a plane? Alex having nightmares worries me as much as it apparently worries Raguel... Nearly at the end of the written chapters, huh? Well, whatever you decide to do with the story, finish it, or leave it as it is. I loved every word of it. To 6336 (Lynda was it right?), thank you for reminding me. With the stress of all the exams I had to study for, the bit about Raguel and the Valar's involvement had completely slipped my mind...

IS sit me or do I see a coincidence (and there are no such things according to the Valar) that we found Prof. RedElfs just as we are retrieving the knife? Interesting and will Alex actually let more folks know about the good professor. Will Gareth and Gwyn actually look the elf up? Hope you are doing better and thanks for putting the chapter up.
