*smile/sniffle* This was absolutely beautiful. “My Lady, they are healed.” A perfect line to end this tale. In reading it, a bit of my own fea seems to have healed as well.

I am pleased you found a healing in reading the story :-) I would love to have an experience like Haldir and his warriors had. I had an inkling when the singing started what the real mission for Haldir and his comrades was, but it still came as a surprise. Luckily for Haldir this form of healing still existed.

Thank you so very much! In my story Memory of Faery, Elrond's twins learn some similar lessons. I don't think that elves were meant to be so destructive and the reminder of what they really are was much needed for Haldir and his friends. The Lady is wise indeed!
