Love this explanation of why Thorin was so snarky when he arrived at Bag End. Anyone would be less than charitable if they had encountered Lobelia along the way. LOL!

Love this explanation of Thorin's less then charitable mood when he arrived at Bag End. First getting lost, then running into Lobelia, and then having Holman talking non-stop about hobbit genealogy that he could not possibly have any interest in. No wonder he is so grumpy when he arrives at Bag End.

Except that Otho should have been seen by her as Bilbo's heir as Lotho was still not born yet (he was only a few years older than Frodo, after all, and Frodo was born about twenty years later), this sounds just like Lobelia. Love the characterization of Holman, too. Delightful!
