This was really an interesting point of view to write from and I am glad that Uzza did not feel compelled to go through with her original plan. Loved the dialogue with Aragorn! Very authentic and real. This was great!

Excellent story; I liked Uzza and felt sorry for her; and was glad that she was helped to find a better way.

A most perceptive and lyric drabble. Trust Aragorn to purge Uzza of all her hatred and make her able to feel the spring sunlight again.

"An off-duty captain, perhaps?" Once upon a time this "captain" was called "Captain Thorongil", I do believe! Only now I do not think he gets any off time. I have often heard that forgiveness benefits the one doing the forgiving more than those they forgive. This is a lovely look at the way misconceptions grow during wars. It is too bad every land recovering from war does not have rulers who heal like that one.

I do believe she has felt the healing hands of an even greater healer than she herself proved!
