They have triumphed and proved themselves to themselves and one another. Glad they are now on the way home. Thanks for the story!

Larner · 5 March 2016 · Chapter 4: Eomer

Ah, at last all is set back in proper balance, and the mad ones are taken in their own trap!

BM · 1 March 2016 · Chapter 3: Faramir

I meant to review this after I found it a few days ago, but I fully admit I'm terrible at time management! Anyway, I am greatly enjoying this and look very much forward to more chapters! In the LOTR trilogy, Faramir is my favorite character, but there really are not that many stories that feature him as the main protagonist--he's usually showing up as a supporting character, so I'm thrilled to find a story that showcases his strengths! (even though he got caught lol) I fear what the siblings have in store for him, though, since their plan for Eomir failed. I doubt the sister will try the seductive witchcraft on Faramir, as he's on to her wiles. I also look forward to Eomer's view as well! I love Eomer and Faramir stories working together--both of those two, along with Eowyn, sadly, seem to be eclipsed by the sheer number of Aragorn and Legolas (and elves in general) stories that fill the LOTR fandom. And I do want to see how they got Eomer free! :)

Well, it seems like we traded Faramir for Eomer. Hope they manage to get away from these crazy people without too many more such trades...

Thanks for the review :) Yes it all went a bit crazy in chapter 3 with the swapping! Posted chapter 4 up today - hope you enjoy it. Happy reading!

PSW · 23 February 2016 · Chapter 2: Legolas

'This is an odd rescue mission.' Ha. And probably about to get even more odd...

PSW · 23 February 2016 · Chapter 1: Eowyn

Good start! I'm very interested to find out how Eomer was lured away, and how far they'll have to go to get him. If they end up in Rhun, they'll probably stick out... ;-)

Thanks for reviewing :) Glad you enjoyed the start of the story!

Larner · 21 February 2016 · Chapter 3: Faramir

It will be satisfying to see the two Rhunim brought to justice, however it is done. I grieve Faramir is so wounded, but am glad that his foe is wounded, also. Too bad about the boy, though.

Thanks for reviewing all the chapters :) I've just posted up the next one, so I hope you enjoy the final confrontation. Happy reading!

Larner · 21 February 2016 · Chapter 2: Legolas

Magic, drugs, or a combination of both, I wonder. I hope they can get him free soon.

Larner · 21 February 2016 · Chapter 1: Eowyn

A terrible situation to find on returning to her childhood home, to find her brother apparently abducted. The vision brought forth by Legolas's comments is fascinating, full of the mystery of Elvish awareness. Now, to learn where and how they find Eomer and how they restore him.

Intriguing start to the story. It will be interesting to see the events unfold through the eyes of different characters. I loved the fire side tale from Legolas at the end. Legolas is clearly not just a superior human, but has other qualities.

Great :) Happy you enjoyed the tale at the end, I remember writing that bit on the train home from work and it was a little tricky to keep in the moment, so glad it worked ^_^

Agape4Gondor · 21 June 2012 · Chapter 1: Eowyn

Nicely done. I'm ready for more. But don't forget your other tale!

Author's reply

hehe nope I won't forget IHS, I've got a full draft for that one so as long as I make myself do some editing each week it will be safely posted :D

curiouswombat · 16 June 2012 · Chapter 1: Eowyn

demeter d · 15 June 2012 · Chapter 1: Eowyn

Oh, yes, I will continue reading whatever else you post for this story! You have very quickly piqued my interest. The first paragraph drops us straight into an unknown peril. Then you quickly show us how it began. A quick, impulsive journey, indeed. I only hope Eomer's assistant can convince the White Company to do what would be best. At this point, tho, that may be hard to see. I must say, if I had to journey into unknown peril with only two quardians, I can not think of two better than the Captain of the Ithilien Rangers and the archer Prince of the Greenwood. Next question would be, how much trouble can they and Eomer get into before the month is up and Aragorn and his guard can be summoned for help! I very much like the imagery of the scene around the fire, where Legolas compares the Greenwood menaced by Sauron to a bright fire casting dark shadows. I could just see it!

Thanks so much for your lovely review ^_^ made me happy and very enthused to continue on with this tale. They will certainly manage to get themselves into much trouble in the days ahead - but as you say - Eowyn is enviable for her two of guardians here :D Thanks again, you really made my week ^_^
