Oh sweet Lord, we're got to have to put a muzzle on Glorfindel pretty soon. Thanks for the charming story Jay.

Author's reply

LOL! Thank you - I'm sure Glorfindel will continue to make inappropriate comments when the twins are listening until he's stopped!

Agape4Gondor · 3 April 2013 · Chapter 3: Hey Diddle Diddle

Oh my goodness gracious. Poor Erestor. What did he do to Elrond to warrant such punishment!

Author's reply

Elrond thinks Erestor would make a good tutor for the twins - and he would, if Glorfindel didn't keep interfering!

UTfrog · 3 April 2013 · Chapter 3: Hey Diddle Diddle

Now I will giggle every time I think of my favorite nursery rhyme! Love it.

Author's reply

I'm glad you enjoyed this!

Bad Glorfi, bad, bad Glorfi! I think Erestor needs to arrange for Glorfindel to go on a very long diplomatic mission, several centuries long, just so he can get the Twins education out of the way before he gets back! Lynda

Author's reply

Glorfindel needs to stop and think about how the twins copy and repeat everything he says! He doesn't really mean to be a bad influence ...

ellie · 3 April 2013 · Chapter 3: Hey Diddle Diddle

LOL! How funny! I so would not let that elf babysit MY kids! LOL!

Author's reply

Spoilsport! The kids would love it :>)

Fiondil · 3 April 2013 · Chapter 3: Hey Diddle Diddle

LOL! Oh, Glorfi, Glorfi, Glorfi. It's a wonder Erestor doesn't beat the kerdickens out of him or at least quietly strangle him. I feel so sorry for Erestor and I suspect Elrond is going to be hearing an earful from him. Nice one, Jay. Just what I needed. Thanks.

Author's reply

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed this so much. Oh, Glorfindel - he doesn't mean to be a bad influence, but forget how much the twins pick up from him :>)

galathil · 6 December 2012 · Chapter 2: One And One Makes Three

Hi Jay, I hope to see more of Nursery Crimes very soon.I love the way that Erestor is driven mad by a certain elf lord and two elfings. Merry Christmas to you and your family. LOL Galathil

echo sackett · 9 October 2012 · Chapter 1: Little Miss Muffet

Love, love the thought of this. You make it real. Thanks! :)

elliska · 8 October 2012 · Chapter 2: One And One Makes Three

ROTFL! So 'Glorfindel says' again, huh?! Between spiders and mares, the twins are getting quite the education. Poor Erestor!

harrowcat · 7 October 2012 · Chapter 2: One And One Makes Three

LOL!

Fiondil · 7 October 2012 · Chapter 2: One And One Makes Three

Well, of course, Glorfindel is correct: one and one does make three, at least in this case. LOL! Good one, Jay. Keep them coming.

Larner · 7 October 2012 · Chapter 2: One And One Makes Three

This reminds me of my story "Be Fruitful and Multiply" in "Another Moment of your Time" and I can so see the twins being as certain as Pippin that arithmetic doesn't work the same with living things! Heh! Great minds think alike! Lovely way for Erestor to develop headaches!

Lindelea · 6 October 2012 · Chapter 2: One And One Makes Three

Perfect logic! (Now I wonder what Glorfindel would do, say, with an Abbott & Costello type of counting or adding routine...)

Lindelea · 6 October 2012 · Chapter 1: Little Miss Muffet

Ah, yes. Been there. Done that. I once counted thirty questions in the space of twenty-three minutes. It must have been an off day; usually there were many more. Thanks for the laugh!

shirebound · 6 October 2012 · Chapter 2: One And One Makes Three

Elrohir’s infallible, infuriating logic Indeed! What a delightful math lesson. *grins*

6336 · 6 October 2012 · Chapter 1: Little Miss Muffet

I hope Elrond has a large supply of Willow Bark, Erester is going to need it! 6336

6336 · 6 October 2012 · Chapter 2: One And One Makes Three

Forehead/hand! Oh, Glorfi are you in for it now! 6336

eliza · 6 October 2012 · Chapter 2: One And One Makes Three

***snickering and giggling*** Hey Erestor, I think you should make Glorifindel explain EXACTLY how one plus one can make three. You would think as old as Glorifindel is he would have learn that children will repeat word for word what an adult says at the most inopportune time. thanks for the laugh.

Grey Wonderer · 20 June 2012 · Chapter 1: Little Miss Muffet

LOLOLOL These two already need much more interesting literature.

Larner · 29 May 2012 · Chapter 1: Little Miss Muffet

Oh, yes--a VERY long day! Heh! Lovely beginning! As a teacher, I've HAD these children in my classrooms, of course, more than once, and disguised as rather ordinary mortals, of course....

eliza · 29 May 2012 · Chapter 1: Little Miss Muffet

LOL. Sweet Lord, I'm having a flashback ***giggle****. I remember when my twins reached the "why" stage. Erestor has my sympathy. Tell him candy is a great distraction. thanks for the laugh this morning.

Ellynn · 29 May 2012 · Chapter 1: Little Miss Muffet

*giggles* Nice and funny! :)

elliska · 28 May 2012 · Chapter 1: Little Miss Muffet

You see, to those of us without children, this is all too realistic. Hilarious!

eiluj · 28 May 2012 · Chapter 1: Little Miss Muffet

Literary critics at such a young age! Wait till they start on the dwarves.... (Face it: it's inevitable the Twins will escape.) This will be fun.

shirebound · 28 May 2012 · Chapter 1: Little Miss Muffet

Oh dear, poor Erestor! He'll have to be creative if he's to keep two intelligent, curious children entertained.
