I just about melted reading your story, and when I got to the end I was disappointed that there wasn't more. I liked your characterization of Faramir, and especially his thoughts about raising his own son. Very real, very sweet. I'm glad he has Eowyn to talk to.

This was a vignette that just spilled onto the screen (I wrote it in about an hour!!) while I was writing another story so that is why it isn't longer! I am really glad you liked it! I have a definite affection for it!

So glad you liked it! I love writing about their relationship. In a story that I had yet to post here called "Changes and Acceptances" I've got various little bits written about their relationship. The story is on fanfiction.net and it will be here soon. I had a lot of fun writing their relationship that story, too!!

Thanks Daw! He is such an empathic character. His upbringing scars how he relates to the world and that makes him a very real character, because we all shaped by our experiences. Thanks a lot for the thoughts.

This is such a gem! You show such pain and uncertainty, then slow, gentle, amazed, joyous healing.
