Oh, yes--they are indeed charming, aren't they? That's why we love our Hobbits so! A wonderful response to the prompt, I must say, and I wish I could be there dancing with them.

Great scene! I'd say it must have been relatively easy to ask the Elves for a dance, but how did Pippin manage to persuade Gandalf? As for the Lady Galadriel: she finally gave in to seduction ;-)

Oh, I don't know! I would imagine Gandalf's danced the Tangle Dance with hobbits before! After all, he spent many festive occasions among the Tooks when Gerontius was Thain-- and then all his visits with Bilbo. Remember in movie-verse when he danced with the hobbits? Of course she did! She said herself that innocence and trust were seductive!

So do I. I can never get enough stories about the observations of Big Folk regarding the remarkable-ness of hobbits! Isn't he though? I love a gallant Merry!
