Lovely portrayal of Eldarion; and a good lesson for him in the art of patience...

Dear Linda: A new LotR story, authored by you, is always a treat, and this one did not disappoint. Eldarion learned that lessons sometimes have more than one purpose, and Elessar managed to teach his son an important lesson without resorting to punishment. I liked the father-son relationship as you have portrayed it in this story, and as always, I enjoyed your writing--especially lines such as; "'Can I kill one?' Eldarion asked with the bloodthirsty gusto typical of the young." Very good! Thank you for writing and posting this. Sincerely, Darkover

Chuckles......Aragorn definately understood how to motivate his son! He was an excellent teacher! And no doubt that lesson also came in handy where Eldarion started attending Council meetings! Thanks for the vignette! :)
