What a beautiful and haunting way to end things. This is a fantastic piece; I love how it looks at the situation from a different perspective with such delicacy and poignancy. Very, very, nice.

How sad. Glorfindel's awkwardness around Aredhel is so different than what normally comes to mind. It gives him a human aspect, I think. Lovely, as always!

This was sweet! The image of him unobtrusively humming her to sleep is very touching, and his evident concern for her is wonderful.

You did an excellent job with contrasting Aredhel's character here. The bold Elf-maid and the collected Elf-lady were delightful in their juxtaposition. Glorfindel's reactions were excellent and interesting as well.

This was beautiful. I loved the style and emotion of the writing, and the simple narration. It really gave depth to the characters and their current situation. Wonderful.
