Sunny · 5 August 2011 · Chapter 13: First Festival: A Celebration of Life Part 2 - A First Festival in Middle-earth

I haven't actually thought about what would have been on the menu at Orcish feasts! This is a delightfully gruesome ficlet!

Author's reply

I'm glad you "enjoyed" it. LOL! Thanks for reading and reviewing!

Larner · 29 July 2011 · Chapter 11: Here We Go Again...

And I still love this, and particularly Thranduil's thoughts on Gimli's cheek! Heh! Delightful!

Author's reply

Thank you so very much! I'm pleased you still enjoy it! This was so much fun to write. Thanks for reading and reviewing!

shirebound · 28 July 2011 · Chapter 12: First Festival: A Celebration of Life Part 1- A First Festival in Aman

What a joyous time, untainted and undimmed by grief or darkness. Nicely done.

Author's reply

Thanks! It certainly was joyous. Too bad it had to be spoiled by Morgoth eventually. He seems to get his nasty hands into everything. Thanks for reading and reviewing!

The White Queen · 8 June 2011 · Chapter 11: Here We Go Again...

Kaylee Arafinwiel · 3 June 2011 · Chapter 11: Here We Go Again...

*dies laughing* Oh, this is great. A wonderful way to brighten my morning before I head out of town. :) I recommended this (and the rest of the Eclectic Whimsies series) to my friend Susana, by the way. :) I was kept guessing until the end...I didn't even pick up on the Elven connections (well, I figured she was an Elf-clone, but I didn't get which one) I should've known, but you surprised me...really well done! Oh, and I love your Thranduil. Thranduil's my favorite Tolkien character (and my second favorite is tied between Galadriel and Glorfindel, as you may be able to tell :) ) Eru's blessings Kaylee Arafinwiel

Author's reply

Thank you so very much for the recommendation to your friend and for appreciating the story so much! I'm glad I surprised you :-) Thanks for reading and reviewing!

6336 · 3 June 2011 · Chapter 11: Here We Go Again...

Yay! Go Galdriel! Took her a while and another reincarnation but she finally made it!Woot! Woot! Woot! Huggs, Lynda p.s. In case you hadn't guessed, I loved this!

Author's reply

I am thrilled that you loved this. Thank you very much! yes, it did take her two times around to get it right, and look out world now! Thanks for reading and reviewing!

eiluj · 3 June 2011 · Chapter 11: Here We Go Again...

I enjoyed the accomplishments you came up with for Nerys Leilani, particularly the refracted light and the camouflage. I must admit I didn't notice what you were doing with her names at all (there's no way I could have figured out "Leilani," but I should have thought of "Nerwen"). "Keller Bjorn" and "Kelly Brianna" are wonderful. "Prince of the silver screen" made me burst out laughing. You should consider explaining adding that in your footnotes -- at least, I assume you had his Quenya name in mind for part of that. Grumpy Thranduil blaming Gimli....

Author's reply

Yes I did my best to coem up with names that were similar to the meanings of the names of Galadriel and her first family. I wonder if Thranduil ever told Galadriel about her clone when he finally sailed... LOL! Thanks for reading and reviewing!

shirebound · 3 June 2011 · Chapter 11: Here We Go Again...

That's utterly delightful. :)

Author's reply

Thank you very much! Thanks for reading and reviewing!

Larner · 24 April 2011 · Chapter 10: Warm Feelings on a Joyful Occasion

At least the two of them are together again before the end.... Well done!

Author's reply

Well...Yes this is true and I guess the reunion of Gollum with his Precious was wonderous for him indeed. Too bad the joy only lasted for how ever long it took him to fall into the lava and melt... Thanks for reading and reviewing!

Larner · 24 April 2011 · Chapter 9: Just a Storm

And I pray that one day they will meet in Valinor to do just that. Congratulations!

Author's reply

I'm glad you liked this! Thank you so much for reading and reviewing!

6336 · 19 April 2011 · Chapter 10: Warm Feelings on a Joyful Occasion

Remembering that scene in the movie I don't think he even knew when he hit the lava! Poor Smeagol indeed! Lynda

Author's reply

I don't think he relised it either. It's amazing what the ring could do to someone. Thanks for reading and reviewing!

Larner · 30 January 2011 · Chapter 8: One Mid-Winter Night

At least they now appreciate why he has had a problem with holidays. Now that is hopefully dealt with, and he ought to be able to do better in future celebrations.

Author's reply

I think he will do better, too. I had fun giving the curmudgeon his own holiday in Middle-earth. LOL! Thanks for reading and reviewing!

Ellynn · 30 January 2011 · Chapter 8: One Mid-Winter Night

Author's reply

Larner · 30 December 2010 · Chapter 7: Enyálë

A terrible loneliness this, to lose love to a cursed oath. Well written!

Author's reply

It was terrible. I wonder how many similar stories played out across Tirion at that time as well. Sorry it took so long to reply! Thanks for reading and reviewing!

Ellynn · 30 December 2010 · Chapter 7: Enyálë

Such a sad and beautiful story. So well done, Ellie.

shirebound · 29 November 2010 · Chapter 5: A Time of Change

Oh, the horror! Poor Haldir, I suspect he'd rather be chased by orcs. :)

Author's reply

Sorry about the late reply. Thanksfor reading and reviewing!

Larner · 29 November 2010 · Chapter 6: Bumps in the Night

Oh, dear--and it is two of the Eldar that go "bump" in the night, obviously! Heh! Delightful!

Author's reply

Yes, it was two of the eldar that went bump. LOL! Sorry it took so long to reply! Thanks for reading and reviewing!

6336 · 29 November 2010 · Chapter 6: Bumps in the Night

It's either that or earplugs! Lynda

Author's reply

Yep... Sorry it took so long to reply! Thanks for reading and reviewing!

6336 · 29 November 2010 · Chapter 6: Bumps in the Night

Arafinwe+Earwen, Ah! Another room might be a better idea, particularly if Earwen is a screamer! Lynda

Author's reply

Another room might have been good, but that might have been even more embarrassing. Sorry it took so long to reply! Thanks for reading and reviewing!

Larner · 15 November 2010 · Chapter 5: A Time of Change

Hilarious! Thanks for the giggle!

Author's reply

I'm glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for reading and reviewing!

Raksha The Demon · 4 November 2010 · Chapter 5: A Time of Change

Heeeeeee!!! Poor Haldir. Poor Elrond. Some changes just have to be accepted - and accomplished. I notice that Galadriel wasn't around; looks like the guys were left to do the dirty work for a change!

Author's reply

Sorry about the late reply. Thank you for reading and reviewing!

6336 · 3 November 2010 · Chapter 5: A Time of Change

Having had to deal with a few scenerios similar to this with my munchkins, I rather wish I could have been Haldir and not Elrond! Good giggle, I like the way you write! Lynda

Author's reply

Sorry about the late reply. I'm glad you enjoyed this :-) Thanks for reading and reviewing!

Elflingimp · 3 November 2010 · Chapter 5: A Time of Change

Larner · 10 August 2010 · Chapter 4: Pearls for a Battle Ax

The poor ellyn! They did put their foot into it, didn't they? Heh!

Author's reply

Yes, they did indeed! It seems that they would learn their lesson when it comes to complaining about the boss lady, but, alas, they have not! Maybe this particular penance will finally teach them. Thanks for reading and reviewing!

amber · 9 August 2010 · Chapter 4: Pearls for a Battle Ax

You pick on Haldir so well.

Author's reply

Thank you very much! I have a lot of fun with him and I'm glad that others enjoy the tease as well. Thanks for reading and reviewing!
