· Chapter 2: The Price of Love
Ohhh, this is so poignant and beautiful. What a bitter choice, but (hopefully) a forever-love beyond this world and into the next.

· Chapter 1: The Tree of Love
THIS IS BEAUTIFUL!
"Oh no... it is not her! It is... oh Valar, do I dream or am I awake? Is it him?".... "He stands still for a moment, like frozen to the ground. He beheld me..." This scene is totally heart-stopping!
I'm with Cairistionia--I too love seeing Aragorn through Arwen's eyes.
A very beautiful piece.

Thank you very much! If if would be a movie, this scene would be a slow-motion ;) (And if it would be a manga, if would be a slow-motion with pink background and many little hearts... thanks god it's NOT a manga! :D)

· Chapter 1: The Tree of Love
After my mother sailed, I lost the support that anchored me to the soil; but not with him. With him, I am strong like a tree growing entwined with another.
The tree analogies here are beautiful, and very perceptive. This is a wonderfully romantic piece.

Thank you very much! As I said to Cairistiona, there is a poem in Tolkien's biography, about him and Edith, comparing their love to two trees growing entwined, breathing and taking the sunlight together. So the line is not entirely mine, but actually my inspiration for this piece by Tolkien himself =)

Oh, this was lovely! I always enjoy seeing Aragorn through Arwen's eyes and this did not disappoint. My favorite line: "With him, I am strong like a tree growing entwined with another." I can't think of a better way to describe their love!
