Sometimes the small, native flowers are in the end more delightful than gardens of more showy blooms! I feel with Arwen here!

Raksha The Demon · 5 January 2010 · Chapter 5: Adorned with stars
A sweet rendition of Faramir's choosing his mother's starry mantle for the woman who would become his wife. I think Finduilas would have approved!

Larner · 5 January 2010 · Chapter 6: Mightier than the Sword
Hehehe! To think that the High King of the West faces his wife's sewing accoutrements with more concern than he does sworn enemies! I love the idea of the guards snickering as they return to their posts!

Larner · 5 January 2010 · Chapter 5: Adorned with stars
Surely the mantle would have been kept in a chest of aromatic wood to fend off moths and other pests! And what a fair one, the lady to whom he would gift it! No, his mother would not begrudge the gift, I think.

I hope the guards called for relief so they could go far enough away to laugh without A and A hearing them! I suspect Arwen would enjoy their laughter, but Aragorn would think of some devious punishment for sure. Delightful.

Ah yes, The Moment comes for Faramir and he may be one of those High Numenoreans, but he's still vulnerable to the lure of a pretty blonde, even one who's not looking to reel him in... Seriously, very nice drabble!

Larner · 5 December 2009 · Chapter 2: A Cat may look at a King
Not only does this cat look at a King, it ACTS like a King as well! Or perhaps it is merely that Men who become kings tend to act rather cat-like--masters of all they survey! Love the capturing of the color here.

I'd vote for the cat looking more kingly; especially since it didn't have to worry about politics, warfare, and tax collection. Cute drabble!
